Great location next to the theatre in downtown Chicago. Also a shopping mall across the street. Walk to everything. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Nice bar area for an after theater beverage ir snack. Excellent customer service. Plan to stay again soon!

I recently stayed at your hotel from March 22nd to March 25th, 2024. I encountered a few issues during my stay that I would like to bring to your attention. Firstly, upon arrival, there was no duvet or blanket in my room. When I asked the lady at the front desk if one could be provided, I was informed that none were available and was given a short decorative blanket instead. Considering the cold weather with temperatures ranging from 1-3 degrees Celsius, my stay was quite uncomfortable as we had to make do with only a thin bed sheet. Although I assumed it might be hotel policy not to provide duvets to all guests, I was surprised to find one in the new room I was relocated to the following evening. Additionally, I experienced difficulty accessing my room on the evening before check-out due to a malfunctioning key card. Despite seeking assistance from both the front desk staff and an engineer, the issue could not be resolved, leading me to stay in another room for the night. Unfortunately, my phone was dead, and I was unable to obtain a charger from the hotel. This situation left me unable to notify anyone of the inconvenience, including the fact that my laptop was inside the inaccessible room. Following this series of events, I spoke with a manager and negotiated a refund for the disrupted night, explaining the inconveniences I faced and the potential impact on my travel plans, including the risk of missing my flight. Despite assurances, I was disappointed to later discover that my calls went unanswered, and the promised refund was refused. While I understand that unforeseen issues can arise in any establishment, the lack of responsiveness and failure to fulfill commitments reflect unprofessional behavior. Regrettably, based on my experience, I cannot recommend your hotel and will seek accommodations elsewhere in the future.

This is a good hotel in an amazing location. Super convenient to restaurants, theatres, and shopping. The staff was pleasant and the hotel decor and rooms were modern but welcoming. Check out the game room on the 5th floor with family and friends (additional games and a small bar/restaurant in the lobby as well). Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby in the morning. I will caution that the room was noisy from street noise/sirens/traffic but not from other rooms or hallways. We were on the 8th floor. Parking is in a garage just around the corner and was a reasonable price.

Great location, huge room that was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping came every day and did a great job replenishing towels and cleaning. I loved the decor and no carpeting. The security at the door was fantastic! They both went above and beyond to help and give suggestions. It is a bit loud at night due to the traffic and sirens but that’s out of their control. The only concerns I had was not having enough space for our car when checking in. You are literally on a busy road and have to move very quickly. Also, the door that was under the thermostat kept popping open and the filter needed to be changed. To be fair we didn’t complain but probably should have mentioned it. Overall, a wonderful experience at a decent price.

I was passing through Chicago and only needed one night. The hotel is accessible to a lot in the area. Hotel staff were pretty nice. Can't remember names but a younger African American woman and the doorman were extremely helpful. My room was a hearing accessible for some odd reason. The floors were filthy, and overall, the feeling was icky. No, I didn't complain because I was too tired. I contacted a friend, and she brought me cleaning supplies and helped me clean the room. The area I was told was great location, but watch your surroundings. I went to get something to eat and police were everywhere! I was told there were groups of kids attacking people awaiting rideshare!!! I immediately turned back around. There was a show next door to the Cambria and I couldn't get to my room due to the theater guest occupying the elevators and the lady told me they have it locked to only go to a certain area. THIS was unacceptable. Hotel guests should have been advised of this. The following day my flight was postponed 3 times and I wanted to extend my stay but I couldn't do the filth and the area. This was my first time to Chicago, and I'm sure to never return.
